Robotic Cleaner - Troubleshooting

The robot doesn't start working under water

Possible causes: Stained water sensors

Solution: Use a cotton bud soaked with lemon juice or vinegar to clean and remove the stains

Water sensor location

The robot doesn't capture debris, the movement is slow or no movement

Possible cause: The battery is running out (the indicator light of the robot blinks in intervals or 1 second)

Solution: Charge the robot

  • The impeller is jammed
  • The suction mouth is clogged
  • The debris compartment is full
  • The cover is not installed correctly

Solutions: Remove the debris clogged in the impeller or in the suction mouth. Empty the debris compartment and clean the filter. Install the cover correctly as shown in the user manual.

The Swivel head doesn't turn

Possible causes:

  • The side flap doesn't come up
  • The Swivel head bottom plate is misaligned
  • The Teflon ring is in wrong position

Solutions: Remove any debris that is blocking the side flap movement. The flap is broken or deformed, a replacement is needed. Unscrew the bottom plate and install again

Install the Teflon ring in the correct position. If the ring is broken, replace for a new one.

The robot does not cover the entire pool

Possible causes:

  • The water filtration system is not turned OFF
  • The position of the locking pin is not set properly
  • The wheel is jammed
  • The pool floor is slippery
  • The debris compartment is full
  • The pool floor is uneven
  • Objects in the pool floor or wrinkles in the liner blocking the robot movement

Solutions: Clean the robot and remove the debris blocking the suction mouth, filter and wheels. Set the locking pin to a different position, remove the objects that can block the wheels in the pool floor, clean the pool floor with a brush to remove the algae, turn OFF the filtration system and wait 15 minutes before using the robot. The robot is designed to work on a flat pool floor without a slope.

*each robot cleaning path setup is different. Please check the user manual for the most accurate settings for your model.

The robot isn't charging

Possible cause: The charger is not properly connected. The charging pins of the robot and charging base are rusted.

Solution: Clean the charging pins with lemon juice or vinegar to remove the rust/stains. Connect the charger to the robot firmly.
