Problem: The robot cannot turn on. Shut-off randomly. Short usage time. Isn't charging.
Cause: The battery is discharged, a magnetic field is near the robot. Stained water sensor. Stained charging pins.
Solution: Remove the debris blocking the impeller movement. Clean the water sensor. Charge the battery until the light of the charger turns from red to green color. Clean the charging pins. Remove any magnetic object near the robot. Adjust the charger base in the port until the light in the adapter turns to red color. Replace the charger if no light is shown when is connected to the outlet.
Charger's light indicator
Problem: Unusual behavior. Doesn't vacuum debris. Unusual sound. Stops at the pool wall. Slow or no movement. Only move in a small area.
Cause:
- The battery is running out (the indicator light of the robot blinks in intervals or 1 second).
- The impeller is jammed
- The suction mouth and/or filter is clogged
- The debris compartment is full
- The pivot flap is damaged
- The filter pump of the pool is not turned off
- Wheels are jammed
- Incorrect setting on the lock pin of the directional wheel
Solution: Recharge the battery. Remove the debris clogged in the impeller or in the suction mouth. Empty the debris compartment and clean the filter. Turn off the filter pump. Remove the debris blocking the wheels movement. Replace the pivot flap if needed. Change the lock pin position. Deploy the robot from the longer side of the pool.
Problem: The robot head doesn't turn.
Cause:
- The battery is discharged.
- The Teflon ring is missing or installed upside-down.
- The suction mouth or filter is clogged or blocked.
- The Pivot flap is missing or damaged.
- The bottom plate of the robot's head is not correctly installed.
Solution:
Recharge the battery. Clean the filter and debris compartment. Install the bottom plate and the Teflon ring correctly. Replace the pivot flap.
